The 41.7-metre Feadship motor yacht Alaia is on the market with David Legrand of Fraser. Originally built in 1986, the yacht for sale underwent a comprehensive refit, beginning in 2013 and completed in 2022, with further upgrades in 2024 to bring her fully up to modern standards.
Previously named Miss Iloilo and Golden Rule, the yacht features naval architecture and exterior design by De Voogt Naval Architects, while the interior was designed under the owner’s direction, reflecting a relaxed beach house concept.

The refit of the yacht Alaia for sale included a redesigned aft deck, creating a spacious swim platform and a well-proportioned lazarette, while preserving De Voogt’s original lines. On the other hand, the interiors were also completely renovated.

The main saloon has an open-plan layout, furnished with a custom sofa and a mahogany coffee table to port. A bespoke buffet cabinet subtly separates the saloon from the dining area, where a handcrafted mahogany table seats ten. Together, the saloon and aft deck form a seamless environment for socialising and entertaining. At the aft end of the main deck, a Mediterranean-inspired area functions both as an elegant lounge and an alfresco dining space.

Alaia can accommodate up to 13 guests across five well-appointed staterooms. The motor yacht for sale offers a full-beam master suite on the main deck, a VIP suite with a queen-size bed and three additional guest suites fitted with oversized twin beds. Each guest suite also includes a Pullman berth, allowing for flexible accommodation arrangements.

At the stern, the yacht features a generous swim platform for guests wishing to enjoy the sea. The extended aft deck flows naturally down to this platform, serving as the ideal base for watersports and relaxation. Discreetly housed behind this area is a secure, climate-controlled compartment containing essential equipment. A hidden watertight hatch also provides emergency access directly from the guest area.
