Extra Yachts has unveiled the first renderings and details of its new model, the 44-metre X145 Global explorer yacht. Described by the shipyard as a “floating manifesto,” the vessel is designed for those seeking an immersive experience at sea.
The exterior lines of the X145 Global are penned by Agon Studio, marked by a high vertical bow that dominates her profile. The design pairs a robust steel hull with commanding high bulwarks, contrasted by the "lighter" appearance of the aluminium superstructure.
Meanwhile, Hot Lab was entrusted with the interiors, crafting open-plan layouts defined by soft geometries, subtle oriental details that give her a contemporary mood. Expansive glazed surfaces flood the interiors with natural light, bringing warmth to the interiors.
At 500 GT, her volume is distributed across five decks. The main deck houses five guest staterooms, all benefitting from the yacht’s generous 9.1-metre beam. The owner’s suite is located on the bridge deck and is enhanced by a private terrace with panoramic sea views.
The upper deck serves as the social heart of the yacht. This space features a lounge with uninterrupted 360-degree vistas, refined seating aft, and a formal dining space forward, split by a floating-style staircase.
At the stern, the beach club opens directly onto the water with fold-down platforms and freestanding furniture, creating 80 square metres of space suspended over the sea. Amenities include a day head with a shower and a dedicated dressing area. The main deck also features a large aft garage capable of housing an 8.5-metre tender, a rescue boat, two Jet Skis, and an assortment of water toys.
Crew accommodations are found on the lower deck, comprising four double cabins with ensuite bathrooms, alongside a crew mess and laundry room. A professional galley and an optional gym can also be arranged in this area.
Additionally, the X145 Global features a dual-mode hull designed to balance performance with comfort. With a range of 4,000 nautical miles and measures to reduce fuel consumption, the yacht is equipped for extended cruising.
