Awlgrip launches low VOC two-in-one Gloss Finish Primer to accelerate superyacht coating processes

Awlgrip®, a trusted and premium yacht coatings brand, has introduced the Gloss Finish Primer, a pioneering, time-saving product for the superyacht market. This product enables professional applicators to streamline their new-build processes by reducing application steps.

The high gloss feature enables applicators to swiftly identify and correct any imperfections before applying the final topcoat, thus preventing reworks during a critical phase of the superyacht project.

Furthermore, the combination of fewer layers and higher volume solids, compared to the typical two-layer step, results in a reduction of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) by up to 50% per square metre.
