Rossinavi-built 46-metre (151-foot) superyacht 2 Ladies has returned to the Mediterranean following an extensive refit managed by Capax at Adria Docks shipyard in Trogir.
Originally commissioned in 2010, the yacht was designed around an unusual owner’s brief. Two friends and business partners requested a vessel that could accommodate both simultaneously, each with his own master suite of equal size and grandeur. The concept shaped the yacht’s layout and identity, ultimately inspiring her name.
Designed by Frank Mulder, with interiors by Studio Arch. Tommaso Spadolini, 2 Ladies was delivered by Italian shipyard Rossinavi in 2012 as the sixth yacht built entirely under the yard’s own brand.
The relationship between Capax and 2 Ladies began during a previous shipyard period in 2023/24, which included technical upgrades and steel repairs. According to Capax, the successful completion of those works established the trust that led to the owners returning for a more extensive 2025 refit project.
The latest works included the installation of new generators, a full replacement of teak decking across all decks, and a complete repaint of both the hull and superstructure.
Mulder Design, the original Dutch naval architecture studio behind the yacht, was also involved in the refit, redesigning the sundeck bar and lounge. The updated layout incorporates Corian Arctic Ice, stainless steel, and teak finishes designed to complement the yacht’s original character.
“A project of this scale demands both technical precision and genuine care for the vessel,” said Teo Petricevic, CEO of Capax.
“2 Ladies has been with her owners since the beginning. The yacht was built for them, by them, and their connection to this yacht is evident in every detail. When Capax was entrusted with the refit, we understood that the standard expected was nothing less than exceptional. All works were executed within owner’s expectations, and we are proud to deliver a yacht that is not simply repaired but truly renewed.”
The refit was carried out in collaboration with a number of specialist partners. Ocean Independence served as yacht management company throughout the project, while Wrede Consulting provided coating consultancy services. Classification was overseen by Lloyd’s Register to ensure compliance with current maritime regulations.
During the steelwork phase, 3D scanning technology was used to achieve a precise fit for new steel plates and hull structures, contributing to the vessel’s overall integrity.
Following the completion of the refit, 2 Ladies departed Trogir and has now returned to the Mediterranean ahead of the 2026 charter season.
“We would like to extend our warmest thanks to the owners, the crew, and all those who contributed to the successful completion of this project,” Petricevic concluded.
“Their trust, professionalism, and dedication made this possible.”
