Princess Yachts has introduced The Residence Collection, a range of onboard interior products for Princess yacht owners that includes handcrafted British mattresses, made-to-order bed linen, towels and upholstery finishes.
The boatbuilder says its new collection is intended to complement the layout and interior design of each yacht and that The Residence Collection provides owners with bedding, linens and interior finishes that are prepared before the yacht is delivered, removing the need to source these items separately.
Every Princess yacht is fitted with a Vispring mattress, made to the dimensions of each berth.
Founded in 1901 and based in Plymouth, Vispring manufactures handcrafted mattresses using traditional production methods and natural materials. Each mattress combines hand-nested pocket springs with layers of wool, silk, bamboo, horsetail, cotton and cashmere.
The Residence Collection also includes the Superior Luxury Vispring Mattress. This version features additional layers of hand-teased Shetland wool beneath a pure wool ticking and is designed to provide a softer feel while helping to regulate temperature.
Linens tailored to each yacht
The Residence Collection includes bed linen, duvets, pillows, towels and laundry bags from British manufacturers Heirlooms and Peter Reed.
Heirlooms, based in West Sussex, produces bespoke bed, table and bathroom linens. The company holds Royal Warrants by Appointment to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Majesty King Charles III, and supplies linens for private residences and superyachts.
Peter Reed has manufactured bespoke bed linen for more than 160 years for homes, hotels and private residences. The company was awarded a Royal Warrant by Appointment to His Majesty King Charles III in 2024 and manufactures its products in Lancashire.
Owners can choose either 570-thread-count cotton sateen or pure linen bedding. Fitted sheets are made to the dimensions of each yacht’s mattresses.
Upholstery and leather finishes
The Residence Collection also includes a selection of upholstery fabrics and leather finishes for interior and exterior living spaces. These materials have been selected for durability and to complement the yacht’s existing interior colour scheme.
For more information about The Residence Collection, owners can contact their Princess distributor or visit the Princess Yachts website.
The news comes a month after Princess Yachts launched Princess Genuine, an official parts and accessories store designed to support owners, captains, engineers, refit projects and service professionals across its fleet worldwide.
