Italian yacht designer Roberto Curto (RC Yacht Design) has opened a new branch office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This expansion aims to integrate the design studio closer into the centre of the American marine industry, as Curto is now based in Fort Lauderdale full-time.
RC Yacht Design is characterised by their innovative design approach and language, boasting a portfolio of collaborations with shipyards including Galeon, Alpha Yachts, Cantieri Capelli, Intermare and more.
Offering services such as exterior design to concept development and engineering support, RC Yacht Design strives to support established and new players in the American yacht market, while also staying connected to their European origins.
Active projects ranging from 24 to 47 metres in length are currently being managed at the studio. Meanwhile, a 145-metre superyacht-inspired cruise vessel concept is also in the works.
“Opening this branch in Fort Lauderdale is a natural step. As a resident of this incredible city, I see firsthand the energy and opportunity within the local yachting community. RC Yacht Design is excited to contribute our Italian design culture and technical expertise to the region,” Curto commented.
