Seven Seas Recruitment is currently recruiting for the following position:

・Title: ROTATIONAL CHEF for a 50m private and charter motor yacht. ・Employment Type: Rotational (10 weeks on/10 weeks off). ・Salary: Very strong salary on offer (DOE in USD). ・Location: US.

Vessel Details:

・A 50m private and charter motor yacht is currently seeking an experienced Rotational Chef to join the vessel from the 5th November in the US! ・The joining location is still to be confirmed, although it is expected to be in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Captain is keen to secure the right Chef well in advance, allowing plenty of time to find someone who is genuinely suited to the programme and looking for a long-term rotational position. ・The yacht operates a busy private and charter programme and is looking for a highly experienced Chef who understands the demands, pace and expectations of producing exceptional food onboard a yacht of this size.

Position Overview:

・The yacht is looking for someone capable of taking complete ownership of the galley whilst onboard, from menu planning and provisioning through to guest and crew catering, inventories and maintaining excellent galley standards. ・Charter experience is particularly important as the successful candidate must be comfortable adapting quickly to changing guest preferences and dietary requirements whilst consistently delivering creative, beautifully presented food at a very high level. ・The yacht is looking for a mature, established Chef who is equally comfortable working independently and integrating positively with the wider crew. A strong background in high-end restaurants prior to or alongside yachting would be particularly favourable.

Requirements:

・Candidates must have at least 5 years of previous yachting experience onboard vessels of 40m+, with charter experience essential. ・You must hold a valid Food Hygiene Level II, ENG1 and STCW, with a Ship’s Cook Certificate considered advantageous. ・You must hold a valid B1/B2 in hand to be considered. ・Male and female candidates are both welcome to apply for this role. ・The package includes a very competitive salary DOE, paid year-round during both on and off rotation, a 10:10 week rotational schedule, standard medical insurance, and all flights and transportation required to join and leave the vessel for each rotation. ・Start date: 5th November.
