FEMALE CHEF for SEASONAL POSITION

We are urgently seeking a female Chef who ideally holds an EU passport, for a private 34m motor yacht for the season.

We require someone who is well verse in cooking for Vegan, vegetarian and lactose free cuisine to join the yacht immediately in Italy.

Working for British owners who are very family oriented and not ones for late nights and parties.

It is essential that applicants are confident with vegan cooking and can provide tried, tested and successful sample menus.

This position would suit a sole chef or experienced sous/crew chef looking to step up and run their department.

Candidates must be comfortable and competent with the following;

Time Management and Efficiency Menu Planning Provisioning and Shopping and without having to rely entirely on agents for provisioning. This is essential Maintaining a Clean and Organised Work Area Communicating with the Crew Professionally and Courteously Fresh Produce, Vegan and healthy Mediterranean style cooking Good communication skills and a positive attitude and a real team player Package on offer:

Salary €6,000 Per month

Full medical

5 /6 Crew

Shared cabin

Contract until end of October/beginning of November

Lovely galley on deck level with a large window and views!

Leave is 30 days plus UK holidays per year accrued pro rata

This is very much a family style run yacht that seeks a no drama, happy and genuine team player to join the crew of 6.

The successful applicant must also be willing to assist in docking procedures with lines and fenders..

There is a mixed nationality of crew but applicants must have a very good level of English language.

The yacht will be cruising the Western Med and as such will be requiring local healthy produce

The Chef will also be responsible for providing healthy and nutritious meals for the crew daily

Requirements

All STCW certificates in date

Valid ENG 1

Food Hygiene Level II certificate preferred and some formal culinary training.

EU PASSPORT IS PREFERRED but will now consider candidates who are already in Europe with Schengen visa in hand.
