Seven Seas Recruitment is currently recruiting for the following position:

・Title: SOLE CHEF for a 40m private motor yacht. ・Employment Type: Seasonal (potential to go permanent). ・Salary: €7000 per month. ・Location: South of France.

Vessel Details:

・A 40m private motor yacht based in the South of France is currently seeking a seasonal (with potential to go permanent) Sole Chef to join the vessel for the upcoming season. ・The yacht operates a private single-season program and offers a well-balanced onboard environment with a strong emphasis on professionalism and longevity. ・The initial contract is expected to run through until at least September, with the potential for extension beyond this date for the right candidate. Similar arrangements have previously developed into longer-term permanent opportunities onboard.

Role Overview:

・This is a hands-on Sole Chef position suited to someone confident managing all aspects of the galley independently onboard a busy private program. ・The successful candidate will be responsible for guest food as well as crew food, with a strong emphasis on healthy cooking and large buffet-style meal presentations. ・The role would suit a Chef who is organised, adaptable, and comfortable producing a varied style of cuisine while maintaining consistency throughout the season.

Requirements:

・Open to both male and female candidates with previous experience working as a Sole Chef onboard similar-sized yachts or within high-end hospitality environments. ・You must hold a valid Schengen visa/European passport in hand. ・Strong healthy cooking knowledge and experience preparing large buffet-style meals are particularly important for this role. ・Salary is in the region of €7,000 per month, alongside a discretionary 10% annual bonus for permanent crew members. ・Start date: ASAP!
