Seven Seas Recruitment is currently recruiting for the following position:

・Title: SOLE CHEF for a NEWLY BUILT 40m private motor yacht. ・Employment Type: Permanent (60 days leave). ・Salary: €8,500 per month + discretionary bonuses. ・Location: Mediterranean.

Vessel Details:

・A newly built 40m motor yacht is currently seeking a Sole Chef to join their crew ASAP in the Mediterranean! ・The yacht has recently completed her Caribbean season and has just arrived in the Med before commencing the season in June. ・The yacht operates a busy dual-season private and charter program with a great owner and already has multiple summer charters confirmed, alongside owner usage planned throughout July and August.

Role Overview:

・This is an exciting opportunity to step into a busy and professionally run new-build program as the yacht enters its first full Mediterranean season. ・The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the galley operation, delivering high-quality guest dining alongside well-balanced crew food throughout both owner trips and charters. ・The role would suit a calm, organised, and adaptable Chef who enjoys operating within a fast-paced environment while maintaining consistently high standards across varying styles of service.

Requirements:

・The yacht is ideally looking for an experienced Sole Chef with previous time onboard similar-sized yachts and confidence managing a busy private and charter galley independently. ・Exceptional Sous Chefs with strong references who are looking to step into their first Head/Sole Chef role will also be considered. ・Strong charter experience would be highly advantageous given the active program ahead. ・The package includes 60 days leave per year, full medical insurance, a salary in the region of €8,500 per month, and a discretionary 13th month performance-based bonus. ・Start date: ASAP!
