Chief Officer / 1st Mate

First Mate | NEW BUILD 40m Motor Yacht | Private & Charter

Job Description Vessel Details:

• Single season, NEW BUILD 40m private and charter motor yacht currently located in the Mediterranean is searching for a permanent First Mate to start early July.
• The yacht will cruise the Med carrying out private and charter trips throughout the Summer season.
• Multinational crew onboard with a fantastic Captain who has worked for the Owner for many years onboard his other yachts.

Position Details:

• The ideal crew member will be someone who has solid yachting experience in a similar role onboard vessels of similar size or larger. You must be confident managing the entire deck department as well as leading a team of Deckhands.
• You must also have great bridge experience and be happy to get your hands dirty and help out wherever needed on Deck. Experience with tenders and water sports toys is advantageous.
• You must be upbeat, positive and ready to get stuck in. Fantastic package on offer for the right candidate.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Schengen visa/European passport for this role.
• Must hold a Yachtmaster Offshore ticket or higher in hand to be considered.
• Excellent verifiable references and all relevant certificates in hand.
• Start date: ASAP.
