3rd Engineer

Seven Seas Recruitment is currently recruiting for the following position:

・Title: TEMP 3RD ENGINEER for a 60m private and charter motor yacht. ・Employment Type: Temporary. ・Salary: Fantastic salary on offer TBC with Captain. ・Location: US.

Vessel Details:

・A well known 60m private and charter yacht currently located in the US is searching for a temporary 3rd Engineer to start ASAP! ・The vessel is currently planning a short shipyard period stint before commencing the season. ・Multinational crew onboard.

Role Overview:

・The successful crew member will be someone who has prior yachting experience in a similar position as a Deck/Engineer or Engineer onboard motor yachts of similar size or larger. ・You must have a keen interest in the engineering department and be willing to shadow the current Engineers onboard and to help out wherever needed in the engine room. Aspiring Engineers who are looking to progress and add experience to their CV’s will be favoured for this role. ・This is a temporary position which promises approximately 4 weeks of work with a solid monthly salary to go with it. Minimum engineering ticket required is an AEC 1, however higher ticket holders will be preferred.

Requirements:

・A valid B1/B2 visa is required for this role. ・An AEC1 is a minimum requirement for this position.Must have excellent verifiable references and all relevant certificates in hand. ・Start date: ASAP!
