Third Engineer – Private Motor Yacht (World Tour) We are seeking an experienced and motivated Third Engineer to join a high-profile private motor yacht currently on a two-year world tour. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to accumulate valuable sea time while visiting some of the most exciting destinations worldwide. Position: Third Engineer Joining port: St Thomas, USVI (ASAP) Salary & Benefits • €4,500 – €5,000 per month (commensurate with experience) • 84 days paid leave per year • 4 × Economy-class flights (home – vessel) per year • €2,000 annual training budget • Discretionary 13th-month bonus (Owner’s decision) Vessel & Itinerary • Private motor yacht on a two-year world-cruising program • Perfect role for building substantial sea time in a dynamic, high-level operation Candidate Profile • Preference given to engineers with a trade background (e.g., electrician/degree in engineering) • Proactive, team-oriented, and eager to develop within a professional yacht engineering department Required Certificates & Documents (non-negotiable) • Valid B1/B2 US visa • Valid Seafarer Medical Certificate (minimum 6–12 months remaining) • Passport valid for at least 12 months • All standard STCW certifications
