2nd Engineer

Seven Seas Recruitment is currently recruiting for the following position:

・Title: SECOND ENGINEER for a newly built 55m private motor yacht. ・Employment Type: Permanent (90 days leave). ・Salary: Fantastic salary on offer TBC with Captain. ・Location: Dubai.

Vessel Details:

・Single season, newly built 55m private (soon to be charter in the Med) motor yacht currently located in Dubai is seeking a permanent (90 days leave) Second Engineer to start ASAP. ・The yacht operates a private cruising itinerary in the UAE with plans to get to the Med in the future. ・Multinational crew onboard.

Role Overview:

・The successful candidate will be someone who has proven yachting experience in a similar position as Second Engineer onboard motor yachts of similar size or larger. ・You will need to have a thorough understanding of the engineering department onboard a yacht of this size and be willing to work closely with the current Chief Engineer onboard. ・The Captain is specifically after an Engineer with a passion for what they do and who can fit in with his current crew. The yacht is currently private, however they plan to get their charter license and move over to the Med in the near future. 90 days leave on offer.

Requirements:

・You MUST hold a Y3 engineering ticket in hand as a minimum requirement to be considered. ・Must have excellent verifiable references and all relevant certificates in hand. ・Start date: ASAP!
