Chief Officer / 1st Mate

Seven Seas Recruitment is currently recruiting for the following position:

・Title: CHIEF OFFICER for an 80m+ private and charter yacht. ・Employment Type: Rotational (2:2). ・Salary: Fantastic salary on offer TBC with Captain. ・Location: Mediterranean/Worldwide.

Vessel Details:

・World cruising, 80m+ private and charter motor yacht currently located in the Med is searching for a rotational (2:2) Chief Officer to start within the next two weeks. ・This is a well-known yacht in the industry with a strong crew, structured programme and a world cruising itinerary which has taken them to destinations such as Indonesia and beyond. ・2:2 rotational leave package on offer with a fantastic salary for the right crew member.

Role Overview:

・We’re looking for a motivated and seasoned Chief Officer with a strong background in similar roles on yachts of similar size or larger. You must be confident leading a large deck team and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the deck department. ・To be considered for this opportunity, you must hold a minimum CM 3000 ticket in hand with good longevity in previous positions. Strong navigational/bridge experience is essential, along with a willingness to manage the deck team. ・The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership qualities, a proactive attitude, and a positive onboard presence. ・Fantastic salary on offer for the right crew member as well as other perks and benefits which can be discussed at interview stages.

Requirements:

・Must hold a valid Schengen visa/European passport for this role. ・Must hold Chief Mate 3000 ticket in hand to be considered. ・Excellent verifiable references and all relevant certificates in hand. ・Start date: within the next two weeks.
